A complete team to cover the needs
On our main campus in Phnom Penh, PSE infirmary welcomes the students, with the required medical equipment for a complete primary health care.
PSE Health Care Program covers general health care, dental care and mental care.
Three doctors, one nurse, three dentists and two dental assistants, but also 4 psychologists support everyday young and older patients!
Who can benefit our care?
Healthcare is one of our support programs who benefit both the students and their families.
In Cambodia, only 41% of the population have access to the healthcare system (National Social Protection Council, 2024). Some parents have national security card, and for the most disadvantaged people, the government created the “ID Poor”, which is a card providing free access to medical care.
However, not all of the families we support have access to it yet. That’s why PSE's healthcare program is essential to some of our beneficiary's families.

Up to 150 consultations a day!
Supported by the Ministry of Health, our medical staff ensures everyday consultations, treatments, healthcare and mental care education, regular eyes and ears screenings and dental checks.
On average, 100 to 150 consultations are done everyday. Diabetes, and hypertension are very frequent conditions that our medical team identifies.
Vaccination (hepatitis B), is also one of the healthcare department priorities, and are even required for our students working in hospitality. To have support, the government comes regularly to inject vaccines that we are not allowed to.

Special consultations are not left behind as well, for dental care for example, almost 8,000 dental procedures (fillings, extractions, cleanings, sealants, minor surgeries, and root canal treatments), have been achieved in 2024, with an average of 608 patients treated each month.
PSE healthcare program, it is also a psychology team, with a designed method to meet the needs of children in all aspects of their well-being and throughout their education.

Meaningful partnerships all along the year
For the second year in a row, the french NGO “Ostéopathes et enfants du monde” joined our campus last January, for several weeks of osteopathic care provided to our beneficiaries, in collaboration with our medical and paramedical team throughout the mission to ensure effective follow-up and the exchange of best practices.
Last February, it is Caris Foundation that we welcomed to ensure vision screening to our students to enable adapted care to each of them.
What about emergencies?
In some cases, patients need to be hospitalized. PSE has agreements with hospitals, laboratories, and health centers for any treatments that the center is unable to provide, and can even help with the transfer to the hospital when necessary.
Spread good practices outside of the campus
PSE healthcare is not only about curative care. Prevention is also at the heart of this program, and informative sessions are organized with children and their families. In 2024, 7 000 persons assisted in the 36 organized sessions.
2 421 hygiene kits with toothbrushes and toothpaste have been distributed as well.
