Sponsorship makes success possible
Thanks to sponsorship, children and young people are taken care of in our programmes so that they can go to school and learn a trade that will give them a decent future.
The results are there! Nearly 100% of our graduates find a qualified job on graduation and integrate with dignity into Cambodian society. In turn, they help their families and contribute to the development of their country. Every year, some 400 young people, newly qualified, escape poverty and enter the workforce with a qualified job as a cook, receptionist, tourist guide, sales assistant, accountant, administrative assistant, mechanic or electrician.
And every year, we welcome as many new children into our programmes. Pour un Sourire d'Enfant works like a ‘machine to destroy poverty’, as Christian des Pallières, the founder of the association, was fond of saying.
