Job description :

The Head of Content plays a key role in defining messaging, ensuring consistency and alignment with PSE’s values.

He/She leverages expertise in content marketing to create engaging content that supports our visibility and fundraising objectives.

He/She also contributes to the organization and delivery of campus visits for French-speaking visitors (tourists, sponsors, major donors, volunteers, patrons, journalists).

The position reports to the Director of Communications, who is also based in Cambodia.

Missions :

Strategy & Leadership

  • Implement a global content strategy aligned with PSE’s communication strategy and strategic plan.
  • Monitor and update, if necessary, the processes for content creation, validation, and publication.
  • Supervise two members of the Content team: a Social Media Manager (a 6-month international volunteer mission in Cambodia) and a Graphic Designer (local staff).

Editorial Calendar Management

  • Manage the overall editorial calendar based on internal and external events, communication objectives, and content requests received from various contributors (volunteers, management, local teams).
  • Propose and produce content that drives engagement, strengthens brand awareness, and contributes to increasing PSE’s visibility in France, Cambodia, and internationally.

Content Distribution

  • Oversee the publication of content on the website, social media platforms, and PSE’s communication materials (flyers, banners, posters).
  • Ensure deadlines are met for all content produced by the team for other departments or for communication purposes (texts, videos, visuals).
  • Analyze the performance of each channel and optimize the content strategy accordingly.

Campus Visits

  • Organize and conduct special campus visits for sponsors, volunteers, major donors, and French media representatives.
    Oversee the planning and implementation of daily campus visits managed by the Social Media Manager.
Profile :

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Communication, Public Relations, Business School, etc.)

Experience

  • At least 8 years of experience in content creation, social media management, and corporate communications.
  • 2 years of team management experience.

Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creativity: ability to come up with new and original ideas, strong sensitivity to the choice of words and images. Great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines. Strong organizational skills and autonomy.
  • Advocacy skills and ease with public speaking.

Conditions

  • Position based in Phnom Penh
  • Desired start date: June 2026
  • VSI contract (allowance + social security coverage, health insurance, repatriation insurance, round-trip airfare)
  • Minimum 1 year, preferably 2 years
