Communication Specialist
Pour un Sourire d’Enfant (PSE) - For a Child’s Smile is a non-profit organization founded by Christian and Marie-France des Pallières, operating in Cambodia since 1995. Its mission is to help children escape from destitution and lead them to decent, skilled and well-paid jobs.
Recognized by the local authorities, PSE is working in respect of the country with the Cambodians and thus supports sustainable development.
Six main programs – adapted to the needs of the children – have been developed: food, health, protection, education & schooling, vocational training and help for families.
PSE helps more than 6,500 children and more than 6,000 graduates from PSE Vocational Training program graduates have already successfully integrated the job market with a real qualified position. PSE employs more than 650 people in Cambodia (Phnom Penh mainly) and 6 staff at the headquarters in France. 400 volunteers in different countries are actively working on making the organization known through fundraising donations and sponsorships.
In 2000, PSE received the French Human Rights Prize from the French Republic.

Communication Specialist (Volontariat Solidarité Internationale contract) - In PSE Communication Department, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
- Manage social media channels and local communication tools to promote PSE's activities and programs to internal and external audience;
- Manage and coordinate on-site visits for external visitors, donors, sponsors;
- Manage content creation for the different communication channels (interviews, photos, testimonies...)
- Work closely with PSE France head office for common projects;
- Develop and spread communication tools;
- Manage and facilitate public and media relations and guarantee the good image of PSE and the well-use of PSE's related information;
- Coordinate the needs in communication from the different PSE's department and control the use of the information and the communication tools.
- Willing to put your skills and talents at the service of an NGO as part of a volunteer mission;
- Demonstrate a deep and sincere interest in access to education for children from poor families;
- Master degree Mass Communication /or Public Relations /or Marketing /or equivalent;
- At least 2 years working experience in communication and/or events organization;
- Good writing skills and willingness to create various content (interviews, photos...);
- Taste for challenge;
- Meticulous;
- Demonstrate teamwork skills in a multi-cultural context;
- Artistic and creative abilities;
- French native speaker with very good command and English (reading & writing). Khmer is a plus;
- Knowledge on DTP tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator...) and Canva.

Duration: 1 year minimum
Indemnity: According to PSE grid + experience
VSI contract for European Union Nationals, providing comprehensive coverage for healthcare, assistance/repatriation insurance, pension contribution, plane ticket one way and return, plus round plane ticket once a year to home country.
