L'Abribus: A Resounding Success in Hong Kong
Looking back at an exceptional human and artistic adventure for the benefit of PSE.
Dear friends of PSE (Pour un Sourire d’Enfant / For a Child’s Smile),
It is with immense joy and deep gratitude that we look back on the performances of the play "L’Abribus," which took place on April 18, 19, and 20 at the FIS Auditorium (Happy Valley).
More than just a theatrical production, this project was a true human adventure, bringing our community together around the values of generosity and selflessness. Thanks to your presence and support, this event was a total success on all fronts.
A Triumph Across the Board
More than 630 spectators laughed and were moved by the electric exchanges between Isa and Éric. Thanks to you, over HK$ 130,000 was raised. 100% of these funds will be donated to PSE to finance the refurbishment of the school’s roof in Phnom Penh.
About the Play
Written by Philippe Elno (originally created for the French comedian Florence Foresti), this comedy plunges us into an unlikely encounter between two worlds:
-
Isa (Alma Brami): A high-energy, hyper-connected Parisian showbiz star.
-
Éric (Jean-Baptiste Peloux): A taciturn beekeeper who lives a life of quiet contemplation.
Stuck on a country bench waiting for a bus that may never come, these two lonely souls eventually connect through a vibrant confrontation, offering a profound reflection on our relationships with others in the digital age.
