Khmer New Year :

Khmer New Year

The children and our teams have celebrated “Chaul Chnam Thmey”, the start of the new year.  This is the most important holiday of the year in Cambodia.

We respect the traditions of Cambodia, since one of our key objectives is to help children to discover their culture we pay particular attention to celebrate the national holidays in all our centres.

A great blessing took place in our centre in Phnom Penh, which was attended by all the youngsters and their supervisors. A few days earlier, a group of children performed the “Robam Trot”, a traditional dance that celebrates the transition from the old to the new year.

Discovering their roots and culture

A full programme of extra-curricular activities allows the children to pursue many sporting activities as well as arts and cultural activities such as traditional Cambodian music and traditional dances (Blessing dance, Trot, monkey, Kroma, ...)

These activities are very important for the development of children ... and encourages creativity and self-expression!
